Katchafire, The Black Seeds & Aaradhna

  • The Duke Of Marlborough Tavern 19 York Street Russell, Northland, 0202 New Zealand (map)

Dub-reggae icons Katchafire are probably NZ’s most laid-back, good-vibes band, and they’re most likely our hardest working too! 2017 has seen the ‘Fire play over 100 shows, touring the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, and they’ve just dropped their latest single ‘Addicted’ this month. Now the Hamilton boys are coming home for the holidays, all fired up for their annual summer road trip.

This summer heralds the 20th anniversary of The Black Seeds, and what better way to celebrate than hitting the road and celebrating with friends, family and fans? Since 1998, the band have been igniting dance floors and soundtracking roadtrips with their signature antipodean blend of roots, funk, reggae and soul – and this summer is set to be no exception performing old classics as well as brand new tracks from their recently released album ‘Fabric’.https://www.aaaticketing.co.nz/event/fca2cd2e83e8a759ff324756e5d635dd

Adding some sweet soul music to the equation is Aaradhna, the queen of Pacific Soul. The humble winner of too many awards to count, Radz will round out this stellar summer roll-call with her golden voice and low-key funky tunes.
